The Awards, now in their tenth year have gone from strength
to strength and 2010 promises to be bigger and better than ever. A
panel of independent expert judges will judge the awards and the announcement
of winners will take place at the black tie ceremony on Thursday 2
December 2010. Magazines Ireland now represents over 200 magazines
throughout Ireland and has worked hard to increase the power and influence
of magazines. The Awards are open to all members of Magazines Ireland
and are aimed at rewarding the best Irish magazines and the people behind
them.
The closing date for entries is strictly Monday 4 October
2010. No entries can be accepted after this date.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR ENTRY
The Irish Magazine Awards 2010 are given for work originally published for and addressing the Irish market, regardless of where the publication originated. Material first published in other media, such as newspapers or books, is not eligible.
For the purpose of these awards, a magazine is defined as any journal that is published on a regular basis at least four times a year and not more frequently than once a week, and is sold or distributed independently of other publications (except customer magazines and annuals - see criteria for more information).
Newspaper supplements are not eligible. All examples submitted must carry a 2009/10 cover date (except for website categories - see criteria for more information).
