Magazines Ireland invites you to a Lunch & Learn on Thursday 16 September 2010 at 12.30 venue Magazines Ireland, 25 Denzille Lane Dublin 2. The meeting will discuss how magazine publishers can utilize existing content to create ipad apps. The meeting will be chaired by Ralph Wills of PHMedia one of the Uk's largest independent producers of online and offline media and will include a sandwich lunch. It will be finished by 2pm. "Don't Get Sued - How Working With The Press Ombudsman Can Reduce Your Legal Bills"Magazines Ireland has rescheduled this event to Tuesday 7 October 2010 at 12.30 at 25 Denzille Lane Dublin 2. The meeting will discuss how magazine editors can avoid potential breaches of the Press Council's Code of Practice; why they should be aware of privacy issues especially in relation to children; how to process complaints when you don't have a HR/Legal department to do it for you, what the benefits are to members of the new Defamation Act and much more. The meeting will be chaired by Bernie Grogan, Case Officer, Office of the Press Ombudsman and will include a sandwich lunch. It will be finished by 2pm.
